SUNDAY SCHOOL 2009-2010: ![]()
Our theme for Sunday school this year is "Let your light shine" from Matthew 5: 16a. During the year, we hope to feature the many gifts that our Sunday School students and adult members have.
Each Sunday morning at 9:30 AM the Sunday School children meet in the sanctuary for opening worship. There they learn songs and hear a devotion that is designed for them. Then they all head downstairs to the Sunday School rooms with their teachers to learn a fun and easy-to-understand lesson. There are approximately 120 students enrolled in Sunday School, an average attendance of 70 students every week. Bible in age appropriate ways for each class. The focus is on teaching the children how to relate the Bible to their every day life and how to use it to live the morals God set for
them. and loving relationship with God. They apply these lessons through mission projects
that they do as a whole each year. They have been involved in the they were involved in aiding victims of the Tsunami by collecting bathroom toiletries,

month at the 11:00 AM service. through the beginning of June. There is no Sunday School during the summer months, however there is a week long Vacation Bible School held every
summer. there is a different theme but the focus is always on connecting with God and learning His teachings.
During the summer, when we do not have Sunday School, we host a week-long Vacation Bible School. The dates and times for VBS will be posted in the spring .
