Worship is the most important thing we do.
In worship, we acknowledge that God is present in the world and in our lives, we respond by faith to God’s action in Jesus Christ, and we are transformed and renewed. As we go out, we offer ourselves to God, and to God’s service in the world.
At Frenchtown Presbyterian we have three worship services each Sunday morning, at 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, and 11:00 AM.
Our 8:00 AM worship is an informal and intimate service. Each week we sing a hymn, hear a message, and share Communion. Afterward, there is coffee and breakfast for those who want to get to know each other, or catch up on the week.
Our 9:30 AM service is especially designed for families with young children. Parents and children gather at 9:30 AM for a 20 minute opening worship service, with songs and a devotion especially designed for kids. When the children go to their classes, the adults remain in the sanctuary for a message and prayer. Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month.
The 11:00 AM service is our more formal worship. Each week, the choir leads the music, and there are hymns, Scripture readings, a sermon, and prayers. Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month.
